A music, movement and creativity project promoted by Sònia Basco, which generates opportunities for artistic participation for children and adolescents residing in Residential Centres for Educational Action (CRAE). Weekly or biweekly sessions where the participants can share, experiment and explore learning, emotions, musical instruments, and make their own as well as group contributions.
In addition to workshops with children and young people, the project also encompasses training for professionals who work in the centre (mostly social workers) as well as the creation of music spaces for free circulation within the residential centre itself.
“Bringing music and art closer to children and adolescents in child protection centres. Promoting access, participation, creativity and equal opportunities. Approaching the change.”
